Hi there!

My name is Sabrina Castle, and I’m a first-year journalism graduate student at DePaul University in Chicago.

For the last five years, my passion for journalistic storytelling has driven me to constantly improve my skills in every part of the story writing process. The knowledge and experience I’ve gained in my education have earned me positions on journalistic publications, coveted internships, significant scholarships and prestigious awards — all of which showcase my dedication, determination and talent in reporting.

I am fascinated by all sorts of news media, whether in the form of articles, podcasts, video commentary or graphic design. My time at DePaul has allowed me to explore these interests through writing articles, creating web broadcasts, producing podcasts and crafting social media content.

I believe news media of all types plays an immense role in shaping who we are as individuals and as a collective. So, my dream is to use my skills, tenacity and vision to produce reporting that will positively impact my readers and my community as whole.
